The Rooted Plow began with a simple question.

Back in 2017, two Ridgefield family members set out to find a meaningful “going away” gift for a friend leaving town. They searched shop after shop but couldn’t find anything that truly captured the spirit of Ridgefield — the landmarks, the charm, the pride people feel for this special place.

So they created it.

From that moment, The Rooted Plow was born — a gift brand dedicated to celebrating the towns we love through thoughtfully designed, locally inspired goods.

A New Chapter

In 2022, I became the owner of The Rooted Plow after falling in love with both the idea behind the brand and the extraordinary communities it represents.

As someone who deeply values small towns, local history, and the people who make these places special, continuing the story of The Rooted Plow felt like the perfect fit.

Today, we continue that original mission: creating beautiful, meaningful gifts that celebrate hometown pride.
