For more than 40 years, the gazebo in Ballard Park has been one of the most recognizable architectural features in town. Originally conceived as a "bandstand" for concerts in the park, the gazebo continues to be the center of our beloved Ballard Park, home to not only concerts, but also to Memorial Day festivities, picnics, wedding proposals and even weddings. The bandstand was designed by Ridgefield architect James M. Hancock (1936-2017), and the graphic reproduced on our stretched canvas print is taken directly from Hancock's original blueprints. Hancock's family graciously shared some of his blueprints with us and, with their permission, we're honored to pay tribute to Hancock's legacy by creating this unique item.
