Ballard Park Gazebo Vintage Sketch Photoboard
For more than 40 years, the gazebo in Ballard Park has been one of Ridgefield's most recognizable architectural features. Originally conceived as a "bandstand" for concerts in the park, the gazebo continues to be the center of Ridgefield's beloved town park. The gazebo was designed by Ridgefield architect, James M. Hancock (1936-2017). This is a reprint of an original drawing graciously shared with The Rooted Plow by the Hancock family. The 11x14 photoboard captures the timeless quality of the central element we still associate with Ballard Park and the families that enjoyed it then and still do to this day.
